One of my business mentors recently told me that typically a business changes one thing at a time and waits a year to see how the change has impacted the business. I looked at him and laughed. We are anything but typical here at Life Sprout Chiropractic!
I would like to take a moment to say a quick thank you to all of you for sticking with us through the last three months of what have quite frankly been a complete upheaval and recreation of our business. While much of the chaos and changes have been circumstantial (such as my wrist injury and recent changes in insurance policies), some were also very intentional and designed to improve our ability to care for you and your family.
In case you’ve lost count, here’s an abridged list of what we’ve been through in the last three months (give or take). We added another chiropractor. We added physical therapy. I (Dr. Alex) disappeared for a while due to both personal life changes as well as my wrist injury. We completely restructured our fee schedule and billing policies (for the better). We began using a new credit card processor. We expanded our hours, had to reverse them when I got hurt, and will be expanding them again when I return to work on July 25th. We had more technology problems than anyone should have in a life time, which led to improved running of our software system. We improved our office procedures to promote better care and customer service. And finally, our last big change will come in the form of a new front desk receptionist who will be joining us in early August.
In case you were wondering, I have not been idle during my time away from seeing patients in the office! In all seriousness, I truly want to thank everyone for staying with us and continuing to share our name as we’ve gone through quite a lot in the last few months. The exciting part is that in the midst of the crazy we continue to grow and expand the size of our Life Sprout family and the people we touch. This is ultimately my goal and vision for Life Sprout: to be the resource and inspiration for healthy and thriving families in Fairbanks.
God willing, we are entering a period of stability, growth and sustainability in our business. I will be back to work the week of the 25th (woohoo!) practicing a completely new technique (yet another change, at least for a little while) and cannot wait to reconnect with all of you.
Thank you for being a part of the Life Sprout family and your continued love and support. And to end in the words of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood (my fellow parents of little people will understand) thank you, for everything you do.
Always here for you,
Dr. Alex and the Life Sprout Team
